Here are some terms that we at MVHOG use during conversation, and on the calendar. Hopefully this will be helpful to those that are not fully aware of the meaning of some of the terms.

•  Open Event - All Chapter or National members and as many guests as desired.
   
•  Closed Event - Only Chapter members and a maximum of 1 guest per Chapter member.
   
•  Clutch Out - This is the date and/or time that we will be starting our journey to the designated location. You should be on your bike and ready to roll.
  This includes having a full tank of gas and an empty bladder.
   
•  Active Member - An MVHOG member that's membership is current (paid up) from the National level AND the local level (MVHOG).
   
•  Member in Good Standing - See Active Member
   
•  Wear Your Colors - Wearing your "colors" means you are wearing an item with the Harley Owners Group logo such as your patch, name badge, shirt, bandana, or anything else with the HOG logo indicating you are a member of the Miami Valley Harley Owners Group.
